The Yamaha TT-R50E is built to introduce young riders to off-road fun with an easy push-button electric start, three-speed automatic transmission, and an adjustable speed restrictor so adults can control how quickly kids progress as their skills grow.

Engine
A 49cc air-cooled SOHC four-stroke engine delivers smooth, predictable power that is ideal for new riders. The three-speed gearbox with automatic centrifugal clutch makes learning to shift simple, while the compact engine design keeps the bike narrow and easy to handle. An 11 mm Mikuni VM-type carburetor with an automatic electric heater helps provide crisp, dependable throttle response.
Chassis and Suspension
A curved steel backbone frame with three engine-mounting points provides excellent rigidity and confidence inspiring handling. The conventional front fork offers 3.8 inches of travel and works with the Monocross rear suspension and single coil-over shock to smooth bumps on the trail. Enclosed 80 mm drum brakes front and rear deliver reliable stopping power, and durable knobby tires on 10 inch wheels provide grip and long wear.
Additional Features
A key-type ignition switch helps deter unauthorized riding, while an adjustable throttle stop screw allows adults to limit top speed as riders learn. YZ-style bodywork with an integrated front fender and number plate gives the TT-R50E a race-inspired look. A folding side stand tucks out of the way when riding, and large folding, cleated foot pegs offer secure footing for little boots.
